Come in from the cold – help keep the Centre vibrant and open!

Feeling blue while days getting shorter? Want to keep warm while also meeting people and learning something new? Want to drum up some business? Here are some tips to beat the Winter Blues!

  1. Become a Meet & Greet volunteer at the Centre: bring that friendly smile, help us keep the Centre open, the fire going, and our community happy and warm! If you have a few hours to spare, pop by 14 Wakefield Street, call us on on 06 308 8239, or email the Manager.
  2. Join a group or activity at the Centre: we have the fire going and the radiators and boiler have been freshly tuned. Check our timetable or get in touch to see what activities and talks are coming up.
  3. Start up your own group or service here at the Centre! Bring your fellow card or chess players along, organise a talk on an interesting subject, or run your business one day a week (or more!) from the Centre. We have the best rates!
